TomTom - Mazda NB1 Voice Recognition Instructions - July 2012
Mazda Voice Recognition Setup
Apart from Voice Recognition for the navigation system, there is also voice recognition available
for other functions such as the car radio and telephone module. These items are optional so
please check the availability for your car.
Voice recognition for infotainment is started using the push-to-talk
button on the steering-wheel - this may depend on your car model.
An example for the Mazda CX-5 is shown in the picture to the
left. Refer to your car manuals to find the button to start voice
recognition.
You then see the following screen on the display in your car:
When prompted, say
“Navigation” to go to
Voice Recognition for your
navigation device.
You cannot say navigation
commands when this screen is
shown. Say “Navigation” first.
