4. Inspect the silencer shield and spark arrester.
Replace if damaged.
5. Install the spark arrester.
TIP: Align the protruding part of the spark arrester (7) with the hole in the
silencer pipe.
6. Install the silencer shield and silencer cap.
7. Replace the cover and tighten the screws.
11.6 Fuel tank lter
(WARNING)
Neversmokeorapproachanopenamewhileyouarehandlingfuel.
1. Removethetankcapandthelter.
2. Cleanthelterwithpetrol.
3. Allowtheltertodryandreinstallit.
4. Reinstall the tank cap. Make sure that the tank cap is screwed tight.
11.7 Fuel lter
1. Remove the screws (1), and then remove the cover (2) and allow the fuel (3) to drain.
2. Hold and pull the clamp (4) upwards, and then remove the hose (5) from the tank.
3. Removethefuellter(6).
4. Cleanthelterwithpetrol.
5. Drythelterandputitbackintothetank.
6. Install the hose and clamp, and then open the fuel valve to check for leaks.
7. Install the cover and tighten the screws.
