System Set-up (Cont)
Option Code
The option code or commissioning code is generated from the serial number displayed on the first
screen after pressing “menu”. Without the option code the unit will not activate the controller
outputs including the dosing pumps. Contact Topline on 01323 440760 for this option code. Only
competent engineers should enter this code. It is not the responsibility of Topline to check on this
competence, this should be carried out via a risk assessment and training conducted by the installer
and operator of the equipment.
Hardware
This is for information only and no changes should be made by the operator.
View Log (Events)
Alarms and User operations. The controls system logs alarms and user actions. For example if the
TEC4000 was standardised, the change would be stored and which user code had been used to
make the change.
View Log (Graphs)
Historical Graphs are stored for the pH, free chlorine and redox (option) values for 42 days.
Other
The location, name and number of the pool or spa can be entered into the controller and displayed
on the front screen. Graph scales both vertical and horizontal can be changed for reasons of
presentation and the preferred standard view. The type of chemical being measured by the
amperometric cell controller can include chlorine, bromine and peroxide. These chemicals can also
be controlled via a redox probe.
Security
Access to the controller can be restricted via a user code. A number of user codes can be created
and the functions altered can also be restricted. The actions taken by a user code are also recorded.
