(8) Repeat the process of (6) to (7) until the overflow water meets the required
water quality.
(9) Make sure the air-scrubbing valve (V-2) and the backwashing valve (V-6) are
“closed” and the backwashing pump is “stopped”.
Constantly monitor filtrate water quality during
filtration, and stop the operation if abnormal water
quality is detected. If abnormal water quality is
detected, check the integrity of the element with
PDT (Pressure Decay Test) or DAF (Diffusive Air
Flow) Test. The test procedure is provided as the
technical information by Toray.
