that you or any other operator of the appliance

before operating the appliance. Pay particular

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or

Always wear substantial footwear and
hmg pants.
Always wear an approved dust mask when using
unit in dusty conditions.
Use file right appliance. Do not use the appliance
for any job except that for which it was intended.
Use appliance only as described in this manual.
Use only Toro attachments with appliance.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, use only an
approved UL (CSA in Canada) extension cord
recommended for outdoor use, Refer to
Extension Cord Chart on page 5. Replace a
damaged extension cord immediately.
Properly connect extension cord to appliance
plug in order to prevent disconnection of the
cord (Fig. 14 & 15).
Avoid unintentional starting. Do not carry
plugged in appliance with finger on switch.
Turn off all controls before unplugging cord.
Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands
or while standing in water.
Do not use appliance with a damaged cord or
plug. If appliance is not working as it should,
has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped into ware1, return it to an Authorized
Toro Service DeNer.
