Spindle Installation
1. Install the spindle assembly . Using a 1/2 inch socket, install the 6 (5/16 inch)
bolts to secure the spindle assembly to the deck. T orque to 16 ± 3 N•m
(12 ± 2 ft-lb).

2. Install the blade drive sheave. Using a 1-1/2 and 1-1/8 inch wrench, hold the
spindle shaft and install the (3/4 inch) nut to secure the blade drive sheave to
the spindle. T orque to 142 ± 7 N•m (105 ± 5 ft-lb).
