19. Remove the “Z” bend from the engine choke lever
(Fig. 0482).

21. Remove the “Z” bend from the engine throttle lever
(Fig. 0484).

22. Remove the two sets of wing nuts and hold down
bolts securing the battery cover to the battery tray,
then remove the cover (Fig. 0485).

20. Loosen the cable clamp securing the throttle cable to
the engine throttle plate, then remove the cable from
the clamp (Fig. 0483).
