Engine Replacement
Engine Removal
1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the
ignition.
2. Turn the fuel shutoff valve to the “OFF” position (Fig.
0835).
4. Remove the negative and then the positive battery
cables and remove the battery (Fig. 0837).

3. Remove the two hold down bolts and wing nuts
securing the battery cover. Then remove the cover
(Fig. 0836).

5. Slide the hose clamp off the fuel line where it con-
nects to the fuel pump (Fig. 0838).
