8. Raise the mower deck to the transport position
(highest height-of-cut) and pin it to secure (Fig.
1253).
10. Remove the battery hold down bolt (Fig. 1255).

9. Remove the wingnut from the battery hold down bolt
(Fig. 1254).

11. Repeat steps 8 and 9 to remove the battery hold
down on the other side of the battery cover.
12. Remove the battery cover (Fig. 1256).
