Solenoid Removal
1. Disconnect the black ground cable from the battery
(Fig. 1529).
3. Remove the nut and lock washer securing the
positive cable that goes to the starter (Fig. 1531).

2. Move the terminal cover off the positive cable com-
ing from the battery, then remove the nut and lock
washer securing the positive battery cable and red
wire eyelet (Fig. 1530).

4. Remove the green and blue bullet connectors from
the two small studs on the solenoid (Fig. 1532).
