2 Firmware update procedure
This section describes firmware update procedure.
Firmware updates may result in loss of ALL data and we recommend you back up
important and necessary data before updating the firmware.
Update the Canvio AeroCast firmware correctly by following the instructions.
1. Download the “firmware.bin” file to your Windows PC or Mac.
2. Make sure the CANVIO AeroCast is powered OFF.
3. Connect the Canvio AeroCast to your Windows PC or Mac using the attached
USB cable.
