Connect wirelessly to a PC/Mac
1 Press the ON/OFF button to power on the system.
2 Once the Wi-Fi indicator light stops blinking, enable the
Wireless LAN feature on your PC/Mac and open the Wireless
Network connection.
3 Select the Toshiba whdd xxxx wireless connection (where
xxxx is a 4-digit number generated by your Canvio
AeroCast Wireless Hard Drive (default wireless SSID:
Toshiba whdd xxxx), and then enter the default
password 12345678.
Please be sure to change the default password
immediately upon first usage of the product.
4 The Canvio AeroCast Wireless Hard Drive can now be
accessed as a network-attached device.
