DHCP
The DHCP functions needs to be supported by a router or a cable modem network with DHCP
services. It is preferable to use DDNS at DHCP connection. Note that port mapping is required
if needed to connect the DVR outside the LAN.
ADSL
The ADSL function needs to have one “username” and one “password” subscribed from one
ISP supplier. Please set up username and password for ADSL connection.
5-6.1.1 DHCP
If the DHCP option is used for DVR network connection, an IP address is assigned by the
DHCP server automatically.
