Introduction
TheelectromagneticflowmeterusesFaraday’sLawof
electromagneticinductiontomeasuretheprocessflow.
Thedeviceconsistsoftwounits:adetector,through
which the fluid to be measured flows and in which
low-level signals proportional to flow rates are
obtained; and a converter, which supplies excitation
currenttothedetector,andamplifiesthesignalsfrom
thedetectorandthenprocessesandconvertsthesignals
intothe4–20mAdccurrentsignal orcommunication
signal. Combined with a multi-functional converter
LF620 (combined type) or LF622 (separate type)
equippedwithitsoriginalpatentednoise-suppression
circuitandadvancedalgorithms.TheGF630hasavery
hightolerancetonoise,givingtheunitaverystable
outputevenforslurryfluidmeasurement.IR(Infrared)
switchesenabletheparametersettingoftheconverter
withoutremovingthecover.Flowdirectioncanbeset
ineitherway,anditsunique128x128dotmatrixLCD
displayallowstheLCDtoberotatedelectronicallyto
90,180and270degreeswithoutopeningthecover.
TheterminalblockinLCDsidemakeeasytowirein
caseofthecombinedtype.
