Inserting
compact
discs
into
the
CD-ROM
drive

With
the
computer
turned
on,
press
the
CD-ROM
eject
button.
The
CD-ROM
tray
partially
opens.

Pull
the
tray
until
it
is
fully
open.
HINT:
The
CD-ROM
drive
will
not
open
if
the
computer's
)
power
is
off.
If
you
cannot
turn
on
the
computer,
you
can
open
the
CD-ROM
drive
manually.
Use
a
straightened
paper
clip
or
other
narrow
object
to
press
the
manual
eject
button.
This
button
is
accessed
through
the
small
hole
to
the
right
of
the
CD-ROM
eject
button.

Holding
the
CD
by
its
edges,
make
sure
it
is
dust-free,
then
place
it
carefully
in
the
tray,
label
side
up.

into

CD-ROM
drive

Press
down
on
the
disc
until
it
locks
on
the
spindle.

Close
the
drive
tray.
