MAINTENANCE

3.1 OIL

Check hydraulic oil level and type every six months. Use ISO VG32 oil.

3.2 TO RELEASE THE AIR

Procedure to remove air from hydraulic oil by moving control handle and pumping.

3.3 DAILY CARE

Limit wear by paying attention to wheels, axles, and lowering forks when not in use.

3.4 LUBRICATION

Use long-life grease monthly or after cleaning lubrication points for bearings and shafts.

SAFE OPERATION

4.1 Read Warnings and Instructions

Operator must read all warnings and instructions before use.

4.2 Avoid Slopes

Avoid operating the pallet truck on any inclined surfaces.

4.3 Training and Authorization

Only operate if trained, familiar, and authorized.

4.4 Condition Checks

Ensure truck is in good condition, checking wheels, draw-bar, forks, and lever plate.

4.5 Pulling Procedure

Move handle to DRIVE to pull truck, easing movement and depressurizing pump.

4.6 No Passengers

The pallet truck is not designed for carrying passengers.

4.7 Protective Gloves

Operators are advised to wear protective gloves during operation.

4.8 Maintain Safe Distance

Ensure people maintain a 600mm distance from forks after goods are transported.

4.9 Proper Loading (Fig. 5/B)

Avoid loading goods in an unstable or incorrect manner as shown in Fig. 5/B.

4.10 Respect Capacity Limit

Never exceed the maximum weight capacity of the pallet truck.

4.11 Terrain Precautions

Exercise caution in special conditions or on difficult terrains.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Forks Will Not Rise

Problem: Forks won't rise. Cause: Not enough hydraulic oil. Solution: Add oil.

Forks Cannot Be Raised

Problem: Forks won't raise. Causes: No oil, impurities, high nut, or air. Solutions: Add/change oil, adjust nut, release air.

Forks Cannot Be Lowered

Problem: Forks won't lower. Causes: Deformed rod/pump, jammed rod, wrong nut position. Solutions: Replace parts, lubricate rod, adjust nut.

Leaks

Problem: Leaks. Causes: Worn/damaged/cracked parts. Solution: Replace worn/damaged/cracked parts.

Forks Lower Without Release Valve

Problem: Forks lower without valve use. Causes: Impurities, worn parts, air, wrong nut position. Solutions: Replace oil, fix parts, release air, adjust nut.
