  • Cutting Feed: The machine features an automatic feeding head. To advance the line, the user releases and then pulls the switch trigger twice. Each double pull extends the line approximately 1/4 inch.
  • Manual Cutting Feed: The nylon line can also be advanced manually by pulling the tool's coil retention button.
  • Knife Cut: The brush cutter is equipped with a cutting blade on the grass guard, which helps maintain the correct nylon length.
  • Edging: For edging, the battery is removed, the shift button (1) is pressed, and the machine head is rotated 180° clockwise.

Maintenance Features:

  • General Maintenance: Before inspection, cleaning, or repair, stop the engine and remove the battery. Always wear safety glasses or side shields.
  • Coil Replacement (Fig. 13):
    • Push the tabs on the side of the spool retainer.
    • Remove the bobbin stopper and the coil.
    • Install the new spool, ensuring the nylon is held in the grooves.
    • Thread the nylon through the eyelets.
    • Move the nylon so it extends from the tip.
    • Reinstall the spool retainer by pressing the tabs into the slots until it snaps into place.
  • Nylon Replacement (Fig. 13-14):
    • Remove the battery and the spool from the nylon head.
    • Use only 0.065" (1.6 mm) diameter monofilament nylon.
    • Insert the new nylon thread into the hole in the bobbin, then wind the thread around the bobbin in the direction indicated by the arrows.
    • Ensure there are at least 6 inches between the wrapped nylon and the outer edge of the spool.
    • Thread the grass through the eyelets so it comes out of the housing.
  • Charger Maintenance:
    • Keep the magazine clean and free of debris.
    • Prevent foreign material from entering the cavity or contacts.
    • Clean the charger with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents or water.
    • Do not place the charger in humid environments.
    • Unplug the charger when the battery is low.
    • Fully charge batteries before storing them.
    • Store the charger at normal room temperature, away from excessive heat or direct sunlight.
  • Cleaning:
    • Avoid using solvents that can damage plastic parts.
    • Use clean clothes to remove dirt, dust, oil, and grease.
    • Avoid brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, and penetrating oils, as they can damage plastic parts.
    • Periodically clean all foreign material from the trimmer head vents.
  • Storage:
    • Open the attachment of the telescopic arm and put it in the shortest position.
    • Clean all foreign material from the trimmer.
    • Keep it in a place inaccessible to children.
    • Stay away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and antifreeze salts.
    • Store the equipment in a lockable area.
    • Keep hands and feet away from the cutting area, especially when starting the engine.
    • Never use the machine if you are tired, if you are not 100% trained, or if you are taking any medications that could affect your vision, judgment or coordination.
    • Turn off the machine when you need to transport it. Always remove the battery when finishing work, storing the machine or passing it to someone else.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides a table for common issues like LED indicator status during charging, nylon not feeding, nylon wraps, and engine not starting, along with possible causes and solutions.
  • Environmental Protection: Waste electrical products must not be disposed of with household waste. Recycle at appropriate facilities. This product should be disposed of in an appropriate recycling facility. Plastic components are labeled for classified recycling.
