The Tornado GTL is an electronic cigarette kit that allows users to vaporize e-liquid. It operates by heating an atomizer head, which in turn vaporizes the e-liquid for inhalation. The device supports both button-activated and vacuum-activated (draw-activated) vaping. It offers adjustable power levels and airflow to suit individual preferences.
Priming the Atomizer Head: Before first use, it is crucial to "prime" a new atomizer head to prevent damage. This involves removing the cartridge from the battery, dripping a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton inlets on the side of the atomizer head, inserting the atomizer head into the cartridge, and reattaching the cartridge to the battery. After filling the cartridge for the first time with a new atomizer head, it is recommended to wait 5 minutes for the atomizer head to fully prime before vaping.
Filling the Cartridge: To fill the cartridge, slide the top of the cartridge in the direction indicated by the arrow on the top-cap. Fill the cartridge, ensuring an air gap of approximately 2mm is left above the e-liquid to avoid air-locks. Slide the top-cap back to close the cartridge.
Switching On and Off: The Tornado GTL can be switched on or off by quickly pressing the power button five times. The indicator light will flash three times to confirm the action.
Vaping: The device supports two vaping modes:
Adjusting Airflow: To customize the draw, rotate the airflow adjuster to expose fewer or more holes of different sizes. Users can experiment to find their preferred airflow setting.
Changing Output Modes (Power Level): The Tornado GTL has three power settings: Low (Red LED), Medium (Blue LED), and High (Green LED). To cycle through these settings, with the device switched on, press the power button three times in quick succession. The LED surrounding the button will illuminate for a couple of seconds, indicating the current power setting. During normal operation, the LED color indicates battery charge, not power setting.
Battery Life Indication: The LED surrounding the power button also indicates the battery charge level when the power button is pressed during normal operation or in automatic operation.
Charging the Battery: Insert the supplied USB-C cable into the Tornado GTL charge port and connect the other end to a USB port or suitable wall adapter. The indicator light will flash at the current battery level during charging. Once fully charged, the indicator light will switch off. The device can be used while charging.
E-liquid Level Management: To prevent the atomizer head from drying out and burning prematurely, ensure that the e-liquid level never drops below the four fluid feed holes located around the bottom of the atomizer head.
Atomizer Head Lifespan and Replacement: Atomizer heads are consumable items and need periodic replacement, typically lasting from a few days to several weeks, depending on usage. The Tornado GTL kit components come with a 6-month parts warranty, with the exception of atomizer heads, which are consumable items covered only by a "dead on arrival" warranty. The USB cable has a 12-month warranty. For faulty parts within the warranty period, users should contact customer service for a replacement. Goods may need to be returned for investigation.
This product contains magnets. Individuals with an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator) or pacemaker should avoid close or prolonged contact with pods not fitted into the battery. The assembled device should be kept at least 15cm away from where the medical device is implanted.
