Toto CST412MF Installation Instructions

In order for your new TOTO toilet to t correctly, please check the following
dimensions.
1. Distance between nished
wall and teh center of the
oor drain, “RI”, must be 12"
(305mm) or 10" (254mm) for
CST412MF.10
2. Water supply should be ap-
proximately 8" to 10” to the
left (facing the bowl) from the
center line of closet ange, and
approximately 6" above the
nished oor.
3. Using the provided template,
conrm the installation dimen-
sions of the PVC trap and the
mounting blocks.

Removing Existing Toilet (If Necessary)
a) Turn-off water supply and ush the toilet.
b) Remove remaining water from bowl and tank.
c) Disconnect water supply and remove tank and bowl.
d) Remove old wax seal and mounting bolts.
Place the installation template so that the baseline of the template and the
center line of the closet ange line up.
Mark the screw locations for the PVC trap and mounting blocks.
Installing Mounting Bolts
a) Clean debris from closet ange
b) Install the mounting bolts into the slot of the
ange head down with the threaded shank of the
bolt pointed upward as shown.
Install washer and nut on the T-bolt to secure PVC trap to ange. Nut should
be tightened 1/2 turn after hand-tight
Secure the back side of the PVC trap to the oor using the provided screws.
Level the PVC outlet. DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE FORCE.
Install the mounting blocks using the provided screws, washers, and anchors.
Ensure that blocks are rmly connected to the oor. If necessary, use the
provided template for the proper alignment.

TO PREVENT WATER AND ODOR LEAKAGE
PLEASE ENSURE THAT WAX SEAL IS FITTED
PROPERLY BETWEEN THE SOCKET AND
FLANGE. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE NUTS,
DAMAGE TO PLASTIC PARTS MAY RESULT.
Installation of Mounting Hardware to Bowl
Tank Mounting hardware is included in the tank.
Install mounting hardware to bowl as shown.
Mounting hardware is include in the TS810DV2 bag.
Installation of Bowl to PVC Outlet
In order to prevent leakage, be sure to
insert toilet all the way into the socket.

DO NOT REMOVE THE OUTLET CONNECTION
AFTER THE WAX SEAL IS SET.
CAUTION
Drill 11/64” screw holes at the marked locations unless toilet is being installed
on a tile or concrete oor. In the case of tile or concrete oor installation, drill
5/16” inch holes and use provided plastic anchors.
Installing PVC Trap & Mounting blocks
a) Turn the PVC outlet connection upside down.
b) Firmly press a new wax seal onto the circular recess around the outlet opening.
c) Turn the outlet connection upright and lower it onto the position over the closet
ange.
d) With the unit properly aligned, press down rmly to set the wax seal.

Piping and Rough-In Check
CAUTION
Put the outlet of the toilet bowl to the mouth of the PVC
outlet, then slide the water closet into socket until it
reaches the wall.
