CAUTION
Never put a rear–facing child re-
straint system on the passenger
seat with the passenger airbag
manual on–off switch in the “ON”
position. In the event of an acci-
dent, the force of the rapid inflation
of the passenger airbag can cause
death or serious injury to the child.
A forward–facing child restraint sys-
tem which belongs to a passenger
risk group should never be put on
the passenger seat with the passen-
ger airbag manual on–off switch in
the “ON” position, because the
force of the deploying passenger
airbag could cause death or serious
injury to the child in forward seat-
ing position.

46 in this section.

Do not sit on the edge of the seat
or lean over the dashboard when
the vehicle is in use. When the air-
bags inflate with considerable
speed and force; Otherwise, you
may be killed or seriously injured.
Sit up straight and well back in the
seat, and always use your seat belt
properly.
