When the instrument panel lights are
turned on, the brightness of the display
will be reduced.
You can adjust the brightness of the dis-
play. To adjust the brightness, see “Instru-
ment panel light control on page 134.
CAUTION
Be sure to adjust the display only
when the vehicle is stopped.
(a) Odometer and two trip meters
The odometer and two trip meters ap-
pear on the display.
See “—Odometer and two trip meters” on
page 154 for details.
(b) Energy monitor
The operating condition of the hybrid
system appears on the display.
See Energy monitor on page 2 for de-
tails.
(c) Outside temperature
(“OUTSIDE TEMP”)
Outside temperature appears on the
display.
The displayed temperature ranges from
30"C (22"F) up to 50"C (122"F). If the
temperature does not appear on the dis-
play or it shows −−, take your vehicle to
your Toyota dealer.
(d) Current fuel consumption
(“CURRENT”)
The current fuel consumption is calcu-
lated and displayed based on distance
and fuel consumption for 2 seconds.
Note that an accurate figure may not be
shown in some cases.
