Rear (type B)
The cup holders are designed for hold-
ing cups or drink−cans securely.
To use the cup holder:
Front—Push on the cup holder.
Do not place any items other than cups
or drink−cans, such as coins, in the cup
holder. If any foreign items enter the gap
of the cup holder, contact your Toyota
dealer.
Rear (type A)—Pull it out.
Rear (type B)—Pull down the armrest.
CAUTION
Do not place anything else other
than cups or drink−cans in the cup
holders, as such items may be
thrown about in the compartment
and possibly injure people in the
vehicle during sudden braking or in
an accident.
To reduce the chance of injury in
case of an accident or a sudden
stop while driving, keep the cup
holder closed when it is not in use.
Rear (type B)—Do not lift the arm-
rest upright when the cup holder is
in use.
Bottle holders

The bottle holders are designed to hold
bottles securely.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to use the holder for
any other purpose for which it was
intended. Inappropriately sized or
shaped objects may be thrown about
in the compartment and possibly in-
jured people in the vehicle during a
sudden braking or an accident.
