To cool off your Toyota af ter i t has
been park ed in the hot sun, driv e wit h
the windows open for a few minutes.
D Make sure the air intake grilles abov e
the winds hield ar e not blocked ( by
leaves or s now, for example).
D On col d days , s et t he fan speed to
high for a minute to hel p c lear the
intak e duct s of snow or moi stur e. This
can reduce the amount of fogging on
the windows.
D When dr iving on dus ty roads, cl ose all
windows. If dust t hrown up by the ve-
hicl e is stil l drawn i nto the v ehicl e after
clos ing t he windows , it is r ecommended
that the air intake selector be set to
FRESH and the f an s peed s elector to
any sett ing except “O FF”.
D If f ollowing another vehic le on a dusty
road, or drivi ng in windy and dus ty
condit ions, it is recommended that the
air int ake sel ector be t emporari ly set to
RECIRCULATE, whi ch wil l clos e off the
outsi de pass age and pr event outs ide
air and dust fr om enter ing t he vehic le
interior.
