CLAMP REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
DISASSEMBLE COMPONENTS OF BROKEN CLAMP

Open the broken clamp.
Slide out the pin holding
the clamp in place, and
remove the clamp.

Remove the clamp sleeves
and the clamp housing.
Pull the lower pole
down and apart.
Slide the clamp housing up
toward the top of the stick.

Turn the Beta Stick over so a small
black plastic piece falls out.
This is the friction locking mechanism.

Disassemble Components of Broken Clamp

Open and Remove Clamp

Slide out the pin holding the clamp in place to remove it.

Locate Friction Locking Mechanism

Turn the Beta Stick over to allow the friction locking mechanism to fall out.

Separate Pole Segments and Housing

Slide clamp housing up, pull pole segments apart, and remove sleeves.

Repair and Reassemble Clamp

Install Clamp Housing on Smaller Pole

Place the clamp housing onto the smaller diameter pole segment.

Assemble Clamp Sleeves

Slide larger white sleeve, then second sleeve onto smaller pole, aligning cutouts.

Attach Gray Plastic Clip

Attach clip to smaller pole segment, orienting lobes toward clamp housing.

Connect Pole Segments

Slot white clamp sleeves fully into the larger diameter pole segment.

Position Clamp Housing on Larger Pole

Slide clamp housing onto larger pole, aligning cutouts with pole.

Insert Friction Locking Piece

Insert friction locking piece into housing slot, point down, flat surface up.

Insert and Secure Clamp

Drop clamp into slot, align pin, push until flush for full operation.
