Air lter
The gasoline motor will not work properly with
a dirty air lter. Clean the lter quite frequently,
preferably with compressed air. Consult the motor
manual.
To clean air pre-lter
The pre-lter must be free from dirt to avoid
damage to the motor due to overheating. Clean
with compressed air or wash in running water
with mild soap.
Table for maintenance of combustion motor
In the rst 5 hours
Change the oil of the crankcase
Every 8 hours or daily
 Check the oil level
 Clean the area around the muffler and the controls
 Clean the protective screen
Every 25 hours or annually
Clean the air lter*
Clean the pre-purier*
Every 50 hours o annually
 Change the engine oil
 Check the muffler and spark arrester
Annually
Replace the oil lter
Replace the pre-purier
Replace the spark plug
Replace the fuel lter
Clean the air cooling system*
Battery
The TR 500G with 16 HP motor has a battery
charging system that is sufcient for normal
use. It is possible to extend the life of the
battery, but charging it periodically with a car
charger.
Always keep battery and terminals clean.
Keep battery screws tight.
Recharge battery with 6 to 10 A for one hour.
Note:
The battery of your equipment does not
require maintenance. Do not attempt to
remove covers. You do not need to check or
complete the level of the electrolyte.
Clean battery and terminals
Corrosion and dirt in battery and terminals can
decrease power.
1. To remove battery from equipment, see
item
“Installation” (Check Battery).
2. Wash the battery with ordinary hot water and dry
it.
3. Clean the terminals and the ends of the cables
with a metal brush to remove excess dirt.
4. Cover terminals with grease or
Vaseline.
5. Install battery.
