Attention!
The motor may break down due to overload,
in case an excessive amount of material is fed
or if it is operated with the disk locked, this
condition leads to a product warranty loss.
Correct Mounting of the Sieves
In order to prevent accidents with the shredder and
keep it in perfect operating conditions, it is necessary
to follow the correct mounting of the sieves. They
must be mounted behind the guiding pins according
to gure 3, between the pins and the shredder's
body sheet. For the correct mounting, start by the
curved side of the sieve, according to gure 4 and
complete the mounting according to gures 5 and 6.
In case the sieves are not perfectly seated, they may
be hit by the blades and cause serious damages to
the shredder. With the sieve correctly mounted, the
shredder's cover must be closed before starting the
work. Before turning the shredder on, after mounting
the desired sieve, manually move the disk and
check of the disk cutting blade hits the sieve and the
counter cutting blade; if necessary, adjust or contact
a TRAPP Technical Assistant.
