Channel Select Switch
UsethisswitchtoselectbetweentheCleanChannelandtheoverdriveChannel.When
the footswitch is plugged in it overrides this switch and channel selection is done
through the footswitch alone.
Overdrive Gain and Volume
The Gain control controls the amount of tube saturation in your sound and the volume control
controls the level sent to Master control.
Tone Controls and Vintage/Modern Switch
The Treble, Bass, and Middle tone controls are to help you shape your sound. The
Vintage/Modernswitchwillgiveyoutwochoicesfortherangeoffrequenciesthatthe
tone controls work in.
Reverb Control
TheReverbcontroladjuststheoverallreverblevel.TheYGL2isequippedwithan
Accutronics®springreverbforauthenticvintagereverb.
Amp In / Out Send & Return Jacks
TheAmpInandAmpOut(sendandreturn)jacksoftheYGL2allowconvenientuseofexternal
effectunits.Simplyconnecta1/4-inchphonecabletotheSendjackoftheYGL2 and then connect
this cable to the Input of your effects unit. To send the processed signal back to the YGL2, connect
theoutputoftheeffectsunittotheReturnjackoftheYGL2.
The Amp Out (send) Jack can also be used as a direct line out (preamp-out). The -10dBu
output is ideal for most guitar effects pedals and professional signal processors. You can
also use this output to slave the YGL2 with another guitar amplifier by plugging into the
Amp In (return) jack of the slave amplifier.
The 1/4 inch TRS Amp In (return) jack is usually used as the return for your effects loop. It
allows an input signal to pass directly to the power amplifier. The master Volume control section
regulates the signal, so you can add Reverb.
Footswitch Jack
Connectingafootswitchtothe1/4-inchTRSFootswitchjackwillallowyoutodefeatthe
internal reverb or add a 6dB gain boost to the overall level for a quick solo boost.
The switching is accomplished with internal FETs so there is no audio flowing through the
footswitch cable. Footswitch-induced noise is never an issue. The YGL2 is compatible with
most aftermarket latching dual-footswitch pedals.
External Speaker Jack

cabinet.Ifyoudisconnecttheinternal12-inchCelestion®speaker,youcanconnectuptotwo
8ohmexternalcabinets.
