Ensure umbrella is closed. For square/rectangle canopies, remove 8 screws from rib end caps.
Requires a ladder and two people. One secures the ladder, the other ascends to the umbrella top.
Access velcro/zipper, unzip, and slide canopy off ribs. Descend ladder and continue removal.
Slide the canopy's top opening over all 8 ribs.
Start by sliding canopy over 4 longest ribs, then over the 4 shortest ribs.
A second person supports the canopy to prevent dragging while it's slid up the ribs.
Slide canopy under cap, ensure velcro/zipper face back, and secure top.
Slide spring-loaded rib ends into canopy pockets.
Reattach 8 screws to canopy ends and spring-loaded rib end caps.
