Installation
STEP 1) Place or Mount Your Power Center: Place the Power Center on a shelf or use mounting flanges to securely
mountthePowerCenter(withuser-suppliedscrews)onanysuitablesurface,includingonawallbehindaflatpanelTV
screen.Theusermustdeterminethefitnessofthemountingsurfaceandtheuser-suppliedscrewspriortoinstallation.
Note:Ifpossible,mountthePowerCentersothatitsLEDsarevisible.
STEP 2) Connect Your Power Center to the AC Power Line: AttachthepowercordtothePowerCenter,thenplugitin
toastandard3-wiregrounded120VAC60Hzwalloutlet,thiswillpower-ontheunit.
STEP 3) Check Your Power Center's Diagnostic Indicator Lights:ChecktheLEDspriortoconnectingyour
equipment.TheywillindicatevariousoperatingconditionswhenthePowerCenterispluggedintoalive120VACoutlet.
STEP 4) Connect Your Equipment to the Power Center's AC Outlets:PlugyourflatpanelTVandaccessory(ifused)
intotheappropriatelymarkedPowerCenteroutlets.DONOTpluginextensioncords.DONOTOVERLOADthePower
Center'soutlets.ThePowerCentercanaccommodateatotalequipmentloadofupto12amps.IftheloadonthePower
Centerexceeds12amps,thecircuitbreakerwilltripandtheoutletswillstopprovidingpower.Ifthecircuitbreakertrips,
reducetheloadbyunpluggingsomedevices.Depressthecircuitbreakertorestorepower.

“SURGE OK” LED:indicatesthesurge-suppressioncomponentsareintactandprovidingfullprotection.IfthisLED
isnotilluminated,makesurethePowerCenterispluggedin,thePowerSwitchisturnedonandpowerispresent.Ifthe
LEDisstillnotilluminated,thensomeofthesurgesuppressioncomponentsmaynotbefunctioningproperly.Contact
TrippLiteCustomerSupportforassistance.YoumaystillusethePowerCenter;however,connectedequipmentwillbe
protected from surges at a lesser level than normal.
