Why is my Triton Shower heater water too hot?
    • A
      Adrienne HaleJul 28, 2025
If your Triton Shower heater is delivering water that's too hot, there might not be enough water flowing through it. Try increasing the flow rate using the temperature control, or clean/replace the blocked sprayplate in the showerhead. Also, check if stop valves are fully open and inspect the inlet filter for blockages. If the ambient water temperature has increased, readjust the flow rate to increase the flow or select the 'ECONOMY' power setting.

Why is the water from my Triton T80 Easi-fit too cool or cold?
    • J
      Joseph HansonAug 2, 2025
If your Triton Shower heater is delivering water that's too cool or cold, try the following: * Reduce the flow rate via the temperature control. * If the water pressure is below the required minimum, and if tank fed, replumb to the mains water supply. * If mains fed, ensure the mains stop valve is fully open and there are no other supply restrictions while showering. * You can fit a pump to achieve the required minimum pressure. * If the ambient water temperature has decreased, readjust the flow rate to reduce the flow, or select the 'HIGH' power setting. * Electrical malfunction: have the unit checked by a qualified electrician or contact Triton Customer Service. * Safety cut-out operated: have the unit checked by a qualified engineer or contact Triton Customer Service.

How to fix a Triton Shower heater that is inoperable and has no water flow?
    • C
      Chad BallardAug 8, 2025
If your Triton Shower heater is inoperable with no water flow, the power supply might be interrupted. Check the fuse or circuit breaker and renew or reset it. If the issue persists, consult a qualified electrician. There may also be a unit malfunction or power cut. Check other appliances. If necessary, contact your local Electricity Supply Co. or Customer Service to have the unit checked.

What to do if the pressure relief device on my Triton T80 Easi-fit Shower heater has operated?
    • P
      Pam MaldonadoAug 12, 2025
If your Triton Shower heater's pressure relief device has operated, causing water to eject from the PRD tube, it could be due to a blocked showerhead. Clean or replace the blocked sprayplate in the showerhead and then fit a new PRD. Another cause may be a twisted or blocked flexible shower hose, so check for free passage through the hose and replace it if necessary, then fit a new PRD. Also, make sure the showerhead was removed during commissioning; if not, fit a new PRD and commission the unit with the showerhead removed.

What causes a Triton T80 Easi-fit Shower heater to fail to shut off?
    • T
      tjuarezAug 17, 2025
If your Triton Shower heater fails to shut off, it may be due to a faulty start/stop switch, which will need to be replaced. Alternatively, there could be debris in the solenoid, requiring the solenoid valve to be replaced.

    Pamela ConleyAug 22, 2025
Why does the water temperature of my Triton Shower heater cycle between hot and cool?
    • J
      Jeffrey BatesAug 22, 2025
If your Triton Shower heater's water temperature cycles between hot and cool, it might be due to the heater cycling on the temperature limiter. Refer to the causes and solutions provided for the 'Water too hot' problem, such as adjusting the flow rate, checking for blockages, and addressing ambient water temperature changes. If the issue persists, contact Triton Customer Service.
