5. Hold the assembled parts together and position the cap, insert (if fitted) and
diaphragm seal and fixings onto the reservoir.

Do not over tighten the brake reservoir cap fixings
Over tightening the master cylinder reservoir fixings may damage the diaphragm, cap
or reservoir.
Damage to the brake fluid reservoir may result in loss of brake fluid, reduced braking
efficiency leading to loss of motorcycle control and an accident.
6. Tighten the fixings to 1.5 Nm.
