A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
1. Locate the left hand brake disc and ABS pulser ring to the wheel as noted for
removal.
2. Fit new fixings and tighten to 22 Nm.
3. Repeat for the other brake disc.
Perform the following operations:
Front Wheel - Installation
Check, and if necessary, adjust the air gap between the wheel speed sensor and
the ABS pulser ring (see Air Gap Measurement).
Check for correct brake operation. Rectify as necessary.
It is dangerous to operate the motorcycle with defective brakes; you must have your
authorised Triumph dealer take remedial action before you attempt to ride the
motorcycle again. Failure to take remedial action may reduce braking efficiency
leading to loss of motorcycle control and an accident.
