Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
1. Refit the Woodruff key to the crankshaft.
2. Assemble the rotor to the key way on the crankshaft, ensuring the Woodruff key
remains in position. Fit the washer and fixing.
3. Tighten the rotor retaining fixing in the following two stages:
Stage 1
4. Tighten the fixing to 85 Nm.
Stage 2
5. Tighten the fixing to 160 Nm.
