Swinging Arm Spindle – Lubricate
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
Perform the following operations:
• Swinging Arm - Removal
Clean all components and inspect the swinging arm bearings and seals for
damage/wear. renew if necessary.
Pack the bearings with fresh grease (NLGI 2 specification grease).
Rear Suspension Linkage – Lubricate
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
Perform the following operations:
• Swinging Arm Linkage - Removal
Clean all components and inspect the swinging arm bearings and seals for
damage/wear. renew if necessary.
Pack the bearings with fresh grease (NLGI 2 specification grease).
