1. Remove the spark plugs to reduce compression resistance when turning the engine
(see Spark Plugs - Check/Renew).
2. Remove the crankshaft locking pin plug from the crankcase.

3. At the front of the engine, rotate the crankshaft anticlockwise using the bolt fitted to
the end of the crankshaft so any two camshaft sprocket fixings are accessible.
The camshaft sprocket fixings need only be loosened sufficiently to allow the
sprockets to rotate on the camshafts.
