Always wear eye, hand and face protection when separating the lever components.
Uncontrolled release of the lever components may cause the spring to become
detached during dismantling. Flying springs may cause injury to eyes, face and any
unprotected parts of the body.
NOTICE
Note the orientation of the return spring, push rod and pivot bush for installation.
7. Carefully remove the extractor from the lever assembly.
8. Collect the lever pivot sleeve from the support piece.
9. Carefully detach the lever from the pivot assembly. Discard the spring and pivot
bush.
