NOTICE
Note there is a washer between the front scavenge pump dowel and the scavenge
pump housing for installation.
6. Remove the front scavenge pump dowel and the washer from the oil pump drive
shaft.
7. Remove the oil pump pressure housing from the oil pump drive shaft.
NOTICE
Note that the oil pressure outer and inner rotors have a dot mark on one face for
identification as they are slightly narrower when compared to the two scavenge rotors.
The oil pressure pump has the oil pressure valve fitted to it. Note its orientation for
installation.
8. Remove the oil pressure pump rotor assembly and pressure pump end plate from the
oil pump drive shaft. Collect the dowel and keep the components of the rotor assembly
together for assembly.
