Fuses
Warning
Always replace blown fuses with new
ones of the correct rating (as specified
on the fuse box cover).
Never replace a blown fuse with a fuse
of a different rating.
Use of an incorrect fuse could lead
to an electrical problem, resulting in
motorcycle damage, loss of motorcycle
control and an accident.
A blown fuse is indicated when all of
the systems protected by that fuse
become inoperative. When checking for
a blown fuse, use the relevant tables to
establish which fuse has blown.
If the motorcycle is equipped with
rider mode settings, then before
disconnecting the battery or removing
a fuse, note and record the rider mode
settings. Once the fuse has been
reinstalled or the battery reconnected
then the rider mode settings should be
reset as noted.
