THE
COMMISSION NUMBER
is
the identification
number
which
is
required for registration and
other
purposes.
It
is
stamped
on a plate
attached
to
the left hand
front
wheel
arch
(not
U.S.A.)
and
is
visible when the
bonnet
is
raised.
On vehicles for the U.S.A. type markets this plate
is
attached to the
body
adjacent
to
the left hand
door
striker
plate and the Commission
Number
is
also stamped on a
small plate visible through the left hand side
of
the
windscreen.
The significance
of
the Commission Numbers
and
suffix
is
as
follows:
