CONTROLS, INSTRUMENTS
AND
INDICATORS
Before entering the vehicle:-
- Check
that
the
windows
are clean and visibility is
not
impaired.
- Check
that
light
lenses are clean.
- Check tyres for condition and correct pressure.
- Check
that
the area around the car
is
clear
of
driving hazards before driving off.
- Check
that
the
bonnet
and
boot
are securely closed.
On
entering the vehicle:-
-
Adjust
the
seats and head restraints,
- Adjust the interior and exterior (Door) mirrors.
- Fasten seat belts, ensure that passengers do likewise.
- Check
the
operation
of
light
switches,
horn and hazard
warning.
-
With
the
ignition
switched
on, check the
operation
of
all
warning
lights.
