Cleaning the water tank
The water tank should be cleaned once a week. Use a
conventional descaling agent (e.g. household vinegar) for
cleaning.
1. Remove the top section with the water tank(1).
Please note that there may still be residual water left in the
bottom section if the device was used beforehand.

2. Turn the water tank over.
3. Unscrew the lid(11).

4. Drain the residual water from the water tank.
5. Take the SecoSan
®
Stick out of the water tank.
6. Thoroughly rinse the water tank with a conventional
descaling agent (e.g. household vinegar).
7. Thoroughly rinse the water tank and the SecoSan
®
Stick
with clear water.
8. Allow the water tank to dry.
9. Clean the inside of the bottom section and the mist nozzle
with a conventional descaling agent (e.g.household
vinegar) and then use a lint-free cloth to wipe the parts
dry.

10. Insert the SecoSan
®
Stick into the water tank.
11. Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water.
12. If required, screw the filter cartridge with water
softener(6) onto the lid.
13. Screw the lid(11) firmly back onto the water tank(1).

14. Place the top correctly onto the bottom section.
