Why is my Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer pump losing pressure?

If your Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer pump isn't producing enough pressure, is acting erratically, chattering, losing pressure, or has low water volume, several issues could be the cause. First, make sure you're using the correct high-pressure nozzle, replacing it if a low-pressure nozzle is installed. Check for and clear any blockages in the water inlet or high-pressure hose. Ensure you have an adequate water supply that isn't over 100°F and that the inlet hose isn't kinked or leaking; straighten the hose or patch any leaks. Also, inspect and clean the inlet hose strainer. If the gun leaks, replace it. Clean the nozzle if it's obstructed. If none of these steps resolve the problem, the pump may be faulty, and you should contact an authorized service facility.
