Function Description:

The TRU Cordless Blender operates without a power cord, allowing for greater freedom of use. It features two operation speeds (HI and LOW) controlled by buttons on the motor housing. The stainless steel blade is designed for high-speed cutting, suitable for blending various ingredients. The 48oz BPA-free jar is equipped with a pour spout for easy serving and a storage lid for convenience. The motor housing includes indicator lights that communicate battery life, charging status, and overload conditions.

Usage Features:

• Cordless Operation: Provides flexibility to blend anywhere without being tethered to an outlet.
• Easy Assembly: The blade shaft pushes onto the metal shaft in the jar, the collar aligns with the jar's U-shapes, and the motor housing then fits onto the collar, ensuring a flush fit.
• Simple Operation: Place ingredients in the jar (do not overfill), assemble the unit, and press either the I (low) or II (high) speed button to begin blending.
• Battery Life Indicator: The power/charge indicator lights show battery capacity:
  • 66-100% capacity: All 3 lights illuminated.
  • 33-65% capacity: Lights 1 & 2 illuminated.
  • 20-32% capacity: Light 1 illuminated.
  • < 20% capacity: Light 1 flashes, indicating a need for charging.
• Charging Indication: Lights flash during charging, stopping when fully charged. Different light patterns indicate charging progress based on current battery capacity.
• Overload Protection: An automatic protection system prevents overloading. If an overload is detected, all 3 lights will flash 5 times, and the unit will shut off. The user should release the speed button, reduce the load, and allow the unit to rest for at least 15 minutes before resuming.
• Safety Precautions:
  • Blades are sharp and removable; handle with care by the shaft.
  • Do not blend hot liquids due to the risk of thermal burn injury from excessive pressure.
  • Do not operate for longer than 1 minute continuously to prevent overheating. Allow a 5-minute rest period after continuous use.
  • Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending. A scraper may be used only when the unit is not running.
  • Never add ingredients while the appliance is operating.
  • If food becomes lodged, release the speed button, wait for blades to stop, remove the motor housing and collar, and carefully dislodge food with a spatula (not fingers).

Maintenance Features:

• Easy Cleaning: All product pieces, except the motor housing, charging cord, and charger adapter, can be washed with warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher (blender blade, jar, collar, and lids).
• Motor Housing Cleaning: Wipe exterior surfaces of the motor housing with a soft, moist cloth. NEVER immerse the motor housing, charging cord, or charger adapter in water or any other liquid. Do not put the motor housing in a dishwasher.
• Storage:
  • Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing.
  • Store in a dry area at ambient temperatures between 40°F and 95°F.
  • The unit can be stored for up to 3 months with a fully charged state. If storing longer than 3 months, it should be charged before next use.
• User Serviceability: This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Repairs should be performed by a qualified repair person using identical replacement parts.
• Battery Care: Do not expose the battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive heat (above 265°F/130°C) as it may cause an explosion.
• Charger and Cord Care:
  • Use only the provided Tru Model P12DUSB050200 US charger.
  • Inspect the charging cord for cuts or abrasions before each charge; replace if damaged.
  • Avoid pulling or yanking the charging cord. Grasp the charger adapter firmly when inserting or removing from the outlet.
  • Do not wrap the cord tightly around the appliance to prevent undue stress and fraying.

Warranty:

The TRU Cordless Blender comes with a one-year limited warranty from SELECT BRANDS, INC., covering mechanical defects from the date of purchase. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. It does not cover damage due to misuse, lack of routine maintenance, improper installation, or alterations.
