This document provides the user manual for the TRUSTECH Patio Heater, Model No. PW15R. It covers essential information for safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the device.
Function Description
The TRUSTECH Patio Heater is designed to provide warmth in outdoor settings, such as balconies and patios. It operates on an electrical power source, providing radiant heat through its heating elements. The heater features a 3-level heat setting, allowing users to adjust the warmth according to their preference. It also includes a timing function, enabling scheduled operation for convenience. The device can be controlled both via a rocker switch on the unit itself and a remote control, offering flexibility in operation.
Usage Features
Before using the heater, it is crucial to read all instructions carefully to ensure familiarity with its operation and safety guidelines. The heater is designed for outdoor use and should be placed in an upright position during operation.
Powering On and Heat Settings:
To turn on the heater, first activate the rocker switch located on the right side of the unit. The rocker switch has two positions: "-" for "on" and "0" for "off." Once the rocker switch is in the "on" position, the heater enters standby mode, indicated by "P0" on the display window.
The heat settings can then be adjusted using the remote control or the buttons on the front of the heater. Pressing the power button once will set the heater to "P1," operating at 500W. Pressing it a second time will set it to "P2," operating at 1000W. A third press will set it to "P3," operating at 1500W, which is the highest heat setting. These settings cause the bottom and top heating elements to glow and radiate heat, increasing the working power.
Timer Function:
The heater also features a timing function, allowing users to set an operating duration. This function can be accessed by pressing the timer button on the remote control. The timing range is from 1 to 24 hours.
Remote Control Functions:
The remote control provides convenient access to all the heater's functions:
- On / Off: This button turns the heater on or off and sets it to standby mode.
- First gear (500W): After turning on the heater, press this button to choose the low heat setting.
- Second gear (1000W): After turning on the heater, press this button to choose the moderate heat setting.
- Third gear (1500W): After turning on the heater, press this button to choose the high heat setting.
- Timer Off: This button turns off the heater at the current time and puts it into standby mode.
