It functions as a fan with additional cooling capabilities, circulating air that has passed through a water-soaked pad. Cleaning and Draining the Water Tank:
- Frequency: Clean at least once a week.
- Procedure:
- Switch off and unplug the unit.
- Unscrew the water pump knob.
- Pull out the water tank.
- Clean the water tank.
- Put the water tank back and screw the water pump knob to the pump.
- Drain the water completely and refill with fresh water.
- Water Pad: Remove the water pad and rinse it under fresh water to remove dust and dirt. Avoid rubbing the mesh with hands to prevent deformation.
- Exterior: Clean the appearance with a lightly damp cloth. Do not use detergents, solutions, or rinse with water.
End of Season Storage:
- Drying: Run the fan mode for about 30 minutes (depending on ambient humidity) to ensure all parts are dry before storing.
- Power Off: Switch off and unplug the air cooler.
- Drainage: Empty all water from the tank and clean it.
- Water Pad: Clean the water pad and put it back into the fuselage.
- Protection: Cover the unit with a clean cloth or plastic bag to protect it from dust and scratches.
- Power Cord: Coil the power cord and store it away from the floor.
