Overview

The TurboAnt M10 is a folding electric scooter designed for personal transportation, offering a smooth riding experience with its 10-inch inflatable tires. It is powered by a 350-watt motor and a 36-volt battery, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 20 mph and cover a range of up to 18 miles. The scooter features a reinforced frame that can support a body weight between 44 and 220 pounds (20-100 kg).

Function Description:

The TurboAnt M10 is an electric scooter primarily used for personal mobility. It is designed for single-person use and is not suitable for carrying multiple riders. The scooter is equipped with a display that shows important information, a throttle for acceleration, a brake lever for stopping, and LED headlights and taillights for visibility, especially in the dark. It also includes a power button to turn the scooter on and off, and a light button to control the headlights and taillights. The scooter has a foldable stem, making it convenient for storage and transport.

Usage Features:

  • Assembly and Unfolding: The scooter comes in a folded position. To assemble, the stem needs to be pulled up from the rear fender, the brake lever attached with an Allen wrench, and the handlebars installed by rotating them inwards. The bell also needs to be attached to the left handlebar. To unfold, the handlebar is lifted slightly and slid out of the locking hook, the stem is pushed into an upright position until a "click" is heard, and the stem safety latch is rotated clockwise to secure it.
  • Folding: To fold the scooter, the stem safety latch is released by rotating it counterclockwise, the folding spanner is pressed, and the stem is lowered. The locking latch is then aligned with the side of the locking hook, and the stem is locked with the locking hook.
  • Riding: Before riding, it is essential to wear protective gear such as a helmet. The scooter is turned on by pressing the power button once. Riders place their weaker leg on the middle of the deck, build up momentum with their stronger leg, and then place the toes of the other foot onto the rear of the deck with the heel on the mudguard. Acceleration is achieved by gently pressing down the throttle. To brake, riders step down onto the mudguard and press the brake lever.
  • Speed Control: The scooter offers three speed levels (Low, Medium, Sports) which can be adjusted by quickly pressing the power button twice.
  • Cruise Mode: To activate cruise mode, the rider must reach a desired speed of at least 3.7 mph (6 km/h) and maintain it. Holding the throttle in the same position for six seconds will enable cruise control. Cruise mode can be exited by using the brake lever.
  • Lighting: The LED headlight and taillight can be turned on or off by holding the light button for one second or longer. It is recommended to turn on the lights when riding in the dark.
  • Safety Guidelines: Riders should avoid riding under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and refrain from calling or listening to music while riding. It is crucial to check local traffic regulations regarding e-scooter use. Children under 14 years old should be supervised by an adult. The scooter has a load limit of 44-220 lb (20-100 kg).

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: The scooter should be wiped clean with a damp cloth after ensuring it is turned off and the power adapter is disconnected. Lubricating oil should not be used on the body, and the scooter should not be immersed in water.
  • Battery Charging: The charging port cover at the bottom of the stem should be removed, ensuring it is dry and dust-free, before connecting the charging adapter. The battery is fully charged when the indicator light on the adapter turns from red to green. The charging port cover should be closed after charging.
  • Charging Safety Tips: The first charge requires 5-8 hours. To maximize battery life, it is recommended to charge the battery at least every month or two, or two days after the last ride. Periodic charging helps maintain the battery's ability and prevents over-discharge. Only the original charging adapter should be used, and charging should occur in a dry, well-ventilated area. The charging port should be dry, and contact with wet hands should be avoided.
  • Storage: Before storing, the scooter should be fully charged and then charged at least once a month to prevent battery capacity decay. It should not be charged if the temperature is below 32 °F (0°C). The scooter should be stored in a dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight, rain, and high humidity, and covered to protect it from dust. Regular checks of the battery level are important to avoid over-discharge. The kickstand is for structural support, and standing on the scooter while the kickstand is down should be avoided to prevent damage.
  • Brake Adjustment: If the braking distance exceeds 16.4 ft (5 m), the brake cable tension can be manually adjusted. This involves unscrewing the fixed screw on the brake shaft, adjusting the cable to a suitable length, and then retightening the screw.
  • Tire Pressure: Normal tire pressure is between 34-36 psi (234-248 kPa). Periodic checks and pumping of tires are necessary, as tubed pneumatic tires may experience air leaks over time.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as the scooter not turning on, battery not charging, cruise control not activating, loose stem, and issues with headlights or brakes. For complex problems like a flat tire or motor malfunction, contacting customer support or seeking professional assistance is recommended to avoid nullifying the warranty.
  • Environmental Protection: Waste electrical products should be recycled and not disposed of with household waste. Users are advised to check with their local authority or retailer for recycling advice.
