Overview

This document describes the TurboTronic® Digital Air Fryer Oven, model TT-AFD32, a versatile kitchen appliance designed for easy and healthy home cooking. It utilizes Rapid Air Technology to circulate hot 360° air with speed and precision, allowing users to prepare fried foods with little to no oil, resulting in up to 80% less fat. The appliance offers a wide temperature range of 50°C to 200°C, enabling the preparation of various dishes from crispy fries to juicy wings.

Function Description:

The TurboTronic® Digital Air Fryer Oven combines multiple cooking functions in one unit, including TOAST, BAGEL, PIZZA, COOKIES, AIR FRYER, BAKE, ROAST, BROIL, REHEAT, SLOW COOKED, DEHYDRATE, and PROOF. It features a backlit digital display and three control knobs for intuitive operation. The first knob/button is used to select recipes and activate the rotisserie function. The second knob/button adjusts temperature and turns on the inner light. The third knob/button adjusts cooking time and controls the fan speed. The appliance includes a rotisserie set, tray handle, air fry basket, wire rack, crumb tray, and bake/broil pan as accessories.

Usage Features:

Before first use, it is crucial to read all operating instructions, unpack the appliance and accessories, remove all packaging materials and labels, and place the unit on a level surface at least 4 inches away from walls, cabinets, or other objects to ensure adequate air circulation. The air fryer/dehydrator basket, bake/broil pan, wire rack, and crumb tray should be washed in warm, soapy water, rinsed, and thoroughly dried. To eliminate manufacturing oils, the unit should be operated once empty. The crumb tray must always be in place.

To operate, plug the unit into a 120V AC electrical wall outlet. A long audible beep will sound. For most functions (except rotisserie), rotate the left knob to select a pre-set recipe, which automatically programs the time and temperature. The middle knob can then be rotated to adjust the temperature, and the right knob to adjust the cooking time. Press the START/STOP button to begin cooking. The internal light can be turned on during cooking by pressing the middle knob. The unit automatically stops cooking and beeps when the set time expires. Pressing the START/STOP button at any time will turn the Toaster Oven OFF. If no buttons are pressed for 1 minute, the digital display will turn off, and the unit will enter standby mode.

For rotisserie cooking, the rotisserie spit is inserted through the center of the food, and the forks are secured with set screws. The assembled spit is then inserted into the rotisserie connection inside the unit. The left knob is pressed to select the rotisserie function, and the middle and right knobs are used to adjust temperature and time, respectively. The fan speed can be adjusted by pressing the right knob button, with a twirling fan icon appearing on the display. The fan enhances convection airflow, shortening cook time and increasing efficiency, and is available for all functions except TOAST, BAGEL, DEHYDRATE, and PROOF.

The appliance offers three shelf positions: upper for BROIL, center for TOAST, BAGEL, PIZZA, COOKIES, AIR FRY, and DEHYDRATE, and lower for BAKE, SLOW COOK, ROAST, REHEAT, and WARM functions. It is critical never to place the bake/broil pan directly onto the lower heating elements.

Maintenance Features:

Proper care and cleaning are essential for the longevity and safe operation of the appliance. Always unplug the Toaster Oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. The exterior can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly; a non-abrasive liquid cleaner can be used for stubborn stains. Metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners should not be used on any surface to prevent scratching.

The interior should be cleaned with a mild or non-abrasive cleaner and a plastic scouring pad after each use to prevent food build-up. For baked-on food, a small amount of cooking oil can be applied and left to stand for 5 to 10 minutes before wiping with a soft cloth. Steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners are not recommended. The glass door should be cleaned with a cloth or sponge dampened with warm, sudsy water and dried thoroughly.

The air fryer/dehydrator basket, bake/broil pan, wire rack, and crumb tray can be washed in soapy water and dried thoroughly. These accessories are also dishwasher safe. Accumulated crumbs and spills on the crumb tray should be wiped with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly before replacement. For stubborn stains on these accessories, a nylon or polyester mesh pad with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. It is explicitly stated NOT to use spray-on or other oven cleaners, as they may cause cosmetic and/or electrical damage.

For storage, the unit should be unplugged, allowed to cool, and cleaned. The bake/broil assembly (wire rack and bake/broil pan) should be slid into the lower shelf position. Store the Toaster Oven in its box in a clean, dry place. Never store the appliance while it is hot or still plugged in. Avoid wrapping the cord tightly around the appliance to prevent fraying and breakage.
