Do you have a question about the TURY FAST MAX IP 5 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The FAST MAX IP68 is a high-quality product designed to enhance vehicle performance and security by adjusting acceleration response and offering anti-theft features. It reduces the original delay in acceleration, providing technology similar to high-end sports vehicles without causing incompatibility. The device is operated via the FAST MAX App and includes an Eco Mode to reduce fuel consumption.

Functions:

  • Performance (1.1.1): The FAST MAX IP allows drivers to adjust the vehicle's acceleration response via a smartphone or tablet app. It offers four acceleration maps (City, Tour, Sport, and Fast), each with nine levels of acceleration gain. This feature, common in high-end vehicles, provides flexible settings and allows users to return to the vehicle's original mode at any time.
  • Eco Mode (1.1.2): This mode features an acceleration map with nine levels for adjusting negative acceleration gain. Higher ECO mode levels reduce acceleration response and fuel consumption while maintaining smooth driving. For safety, if full acceleration is applied in ECO mode, the vehicle will revert to original acceleration. It is ideal for taxi drivers, app drivers, fleet drivers, and users who prioritize fuel savings.
  • Original Mode (1.1.3): To revert to the vehicle's original acceleration mode, users simply click the "OFF" switch in the app. FAST MAX IP can be activated and deactivated, and maps/levels selected, at any time, but not while the pedal is accelerating.
  • Reverse Auxiliary (1.1.4): This optional function inhibits any acceleration map, maintaining original acceleration when reverse gear is engaged. After disengaging reverse, original acceleration persists for 5 seconds, ensuring safety during maneuvering. This feature is only available if the brown wire is connected to the vehicle's REVERSE lighting signal.
  • Parking (1.1.5): This function limits vehicle acceleration to 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, or 15% of the original acceleration. It is suitable for situations like valet parking, workshops, or driving lessons where restricted acceleration is desired. To activate, hold the PARKING switch for 2 seconds; to deactivate, click any other button on the main screen.
  • Lock (1.1.6): An anti-theft feature that blocks electronic throttle operation. To activate, hold the LOCK button in the app for 2 seconds and confirm with "OK" (two-level activation). To unlock, open the app, connect to FAST MAX IP, and it will return to the last selected mode or click any other button. This function should only be used when the vehicle is parked and not in motion.
  • Auto Lock - Smartphone (1.1.7): Automatically locks and unlocks the accelerator pedal for anti-theft protection. Once activated, FAST MAX IP locks the pedal upon vehicle start and searches for paired smartphones. If a registered smartphone is found, the pedal unlocks immediately. If not, the pedal remains blocked, and LOCK mode is activated. On Android, unlocking occurs with the app in the background or closed. On iOS, unlocking occurs when the app is open in the background. If the app is in the foreground, the pedal also unlocks. Once unlocked, it stays unlocked for the ignition cycle, even if the smartphone's battery dies. On iOS, the app may close in the background due to battery management, requiring manual reopening. Some smartphones may require Bluetooth toggling for this function to work after being switched off.
  • Auto Lock - Magic Key (1.1.8): (Not included in the product) This Bluetooth control acts as a presence key for vehicle protection. Up to four MAGIC KEYs can be registered. It functions similarly to Auto Lock - Smartphone, locking and unlocking the pedal after vehicle start. If the MAGIC KEY is no longer detected, the pedal locks according to configured settings (IMMEDIATE or PROGRESSIVE, TOTAL or PARTIAL lock). The progressive or immediate lockout activation time can be set from 1 to 20 minutes. Detection of the Magic Key is only possible with the FAST MAX APP in the background or closed.
  • Auto Lock - GPS Tracker - Alarm - Blocker (1.1.9): Designed for external electronic throttle locking via GPS trackers, alarms, or immobilizers. Once activated, the progressive locking system (similar to Magic Key) is immediately engaged. Users can set the locking mode (IMMEDIATE or PROGRESSIVE) and type (TOTAL or PARTIAL). Upon activation, immediate locking blocks the pedal, while progressive locking starts with 50% acceleration limitation, reducing by 10% every 10 seconds until fully blocked after 1 minute. This function is compatible with various GPS trackers and alarms, accepting different activation/deactivation commands.
  • High Idle Mode (1.1.10): Developed for professional mechanics to maintain a high idle RPM for specific maintenance services without needing to hold the accelerator pedal. To activate, go to MENU/HIGH IDLE MODE in the app, accelerate to the desired RPM, click "OFF," then "START" (two-level activation). The acceleration will be maintained at the programmed point. Deactivation methods include clicking "ON," stepping on the accelerator pedal, or clicking any map or level.

Important Technical Specifications (1.3):

  • Operating current: 10mA
  • Operating current models FAST MAX 5.5 and 5.6: 4.7mA
  • Input voltage: 3V3 / 5V
  • Uses Bluetooth 5.2 technology.
  • Free from electromagnetic interference and radiation harmful to human health or other equipment.

Usage Features:

  • Installation (2.1 - 2.7): The device can be installed in any vehicle with an electronic throttle, manual or automatic gearbox, and any fuel type. Installation uses original connectors, maintaining vehicle originality and warranty. The manual provides detailed installation schemes for four-wheel vehicles (subject to moisture ingress), motorcycles, and CAN AM vehicles.
    • Disconnecting the Electronic Accelerator (2.2): Before installation, turn off the ignition, remove the key, and wait 10 minutes for the accelerator pedal power supply to time out. A multimeter can be used to verify the power supply has ended. Disconnecting an energized throttle may trigger dashboard anomaly lights.
    • Connector Locations (2.3, 2.4): Specific locations for accelerator connectors are provided for motorcycles (below speedometer, behind headlight, near tank) and CAN AM vehicles (between panel and accelerator pedal).
    • Wiring (2.5, 2.6, 2.7): Instructions for connecting the FAST MAX IP to the vehicle's ECU and accelerator, and securing the unit.
