This document describes the installation, operation, and maintenance of a dual canopy umbrella with integrated lights and heaters.
The device is a dual canopy umbrella designed to provide shade, lighting, and heating. It features integrated Ambia LED lights and heaters within each canopy. The umbrella is operated via a control panel and includes safety features such as emergency shut-down, automatic heater turn-off, and a lock-out feature for unauthorized users. It is designed for outdoor use and requires electrical power for its lighting and heating functions.
Step 1: Unpacking Remove all packaging from in and around the umbrella.
Step 2: Unlocking the Umbrella Pull the pin from the cam lock and lift the handle to unlock the umbrella.
Step 3: Mounting the Canopy and Beauty Cover Once the stem is leveled using the base installation instructions, slide the beauty cover and umbrella over the security stem (which is included with the umbrella). It is crucial to ensure that cables are not pinched when inserting the umbrella over the security stem and when installing the beauty cover.
Step 4: Locking the Umbrella and Installing Beauty Covers Lock the umbrella down by pushing the cam lock handles into the down position and securing them with pins. Mount the electrical beauty covers over the control boxes.
Step 5: Preparing for Dual Canopy Frame Installation For shipping purposes, trolley carts are tightened with elastic rope. Remove the protective bubble wrap and elastic rope from the electrical sleeve.
Step 6: Installing the Second Canopy Frame Install the second canopy frame using the 3/8" bushings and screws. Add a drop of provided Loctite to the end of the screw threads for secure fastening.
Step 7: Connecting High Wind Stabilizers (If Applicable) If high wind stabilizers are applicable, connect them as follows: a. Mount long arms wind stabilizers to the lower trolley cart. b. Mount short arms wind stabilizers to the upper trolley cart. Again, add a drop of provided Loctite to the end of the screw threads.
