Self maintenance procedure
● Connect adjuster to stopper gear cable at engine end.
● Connect the pulley to shaft gear shifter and tighten nut.
● Connect pulley to handle bar end and insert sleeve in to
handle bar
● Lock the pulley with clip
● Adjust cable free play by loosening lock nut and turning
adjuster nut in or out.
● Refit cover handle bar and tighten screws.
Air filter cleaning
Removal
● Air filter is present below the load deck of RH side.
● Clean the Outer Surface of the air filter throughly.
● Loosen the three lock clip provided on the cover air filter,
and take out the cover air filter.
● Take out the paper filter cartridge.
● Blow the compressed air from inside out of the filter
element to free the filter from dust particle.
● Replace the Paper filter element along with foam every
40000 kms. or found damaged for better performance of
the vehicle and engine life.
● Clean the cover air filter and case air filter.
● Re-assemble the air filter element in the reverse order of
removal. Ensure all the three clips are clamped with cover
air filter and locked properly.
